About Camp Hosanna
Camp Hosanna was founded in 1968 by a small group of farming families from Boundary County who believed that young people needed a place to encounter God in the natural world. The original camp was a single lodge, six tent platforms, and a fire ring.
Today Camp Hosanna sits on fourteen acres of forested land in the Selkirk Mountains, with permanent lodges, a dining hall, a small chapel, a swimming area, sports fields, and a new ropes course completed this spring.
We are an ecumenical Christian camp. Campers of all denominations are welcome. Our programs serve ages 10 through 17.
Our Mission
"We believe that stepping away from ordinary life — into the woods, around a fire, among peers who are asking the same questions — opens young people to things they might not otherwise hear. We have seen it happen for almost thirty years. We expect to see it again this summer."
— Rev. James Halverson
