Rev. James Halverson
Camp Director — Since 1982
Rev. Halverson has directed Camp Hosanna since 1982. He is an ordained minister in the Ecumenical Council of the Pacific Northwest and holds a degree in Christian Education from Whitworth University. He and his wife Margaret live in Bonners Ferry year-round and are deeply committed to the camp's mission.

Brother Daniel Lortz
Youth Programs Coordinator — Joined 1994
Brother Daniel joined us in 1994 after several years of youth ministry work across the Pacific Northwest. He holds a Certificate in Youth Ministry from the Pacific Northwest Ministry Institute (1991) and has led retreat programs at three previous youth organizations in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.
He is the organizer of this summer's Special Evening Retreat, a program he has run in various forms at each of his previous placements. He describes it as "an invitation to step outside of ordinary time."
Note: Brother Daniel is not currently accepting personal correspondence.
His current whereabouts are not known to camp administration.
